From the airwaves of CBS news in the US, it's been confirmed that "Nerf gun modifications can be dangerous"

Ahh all it takes is a few dumb asses and it makes the media.. i'm pretty sure any form of modification to any product can be dangerous.Damn straight Nerf can be dangerous, how many paper cuts have I gotten from the packaging alone?!:P

  1. Pam is just some old lady who hates kids and when she see's them with nerf guns she calls the cops. moddifying is a good way to exspress yourself. my parents are amazed of what i can do.

  6. What kind of "evidence" is asking for a statement from Hasbro? Of course they're going to keep leaving warnings saying not to modify guns; the moment they say anything that could be considered encouraging mods, lawsuits galore... Plus it keeps some idiots from doing mods that would otherwise cause this kind of controversy...

  7. UIN13 never authorised the use of his video in this report, so in actual fact, he has every right to sue CBS!

  9. Actually, this is a lot more reasonable than I expected. They showed both sides of the issue, made it clear that there are parents who approve of their kids being creative and handy, covered Hasbro's ass for them, and delineated a clear difference between useful and harmful mods.

This isn't really the scare tactic yellow journalism it could have been. I approve.
